As I have gotten older, I have come to appreciate the simple things in life – including my wardrobe pieces. I pretty much live in jeans, a white tee and dainty accessories. I have put together some of my other closet essentials below. Brightly colored clutches add that perfect pop of color to an otherwise bland outfit, while layering tanks under a sweater and a leather jacket makes for an effortless look {especially when you hit snooze too many times on your alarm clock}. Every girl should own a pair of standout flats along with the classic nude pump – they go with everything – as does a fitted black blazer. Oh and not to forget about the chambray shirt. I am a just a tad bit obsessed with this look – wear it alone, with a sweater, with a blazer, white jeans, leggings – the list goes on and on. Did I mention I’m a little obsessed?

I love that your pieces have a lot of flare, and the lobster is a bit quirky. no reason for the basics to be boring!
All of these pieces are so great!! My essentials are jeans, kooky heels, sweaters and blazers, haha

These are some of my go to pieces. Since injuring my hip (so I wear heels a lot less often) I’ve been wearing a lot of flats, but I like them to have some sort of feature or embellishment to set them apart. Loving your essentials list x
